It’s like a chorus of angels singing songs only devils could write.
— Frederick PLaylist

Fronted by songwriter Ash Cheshire, Cheshi's concepts arise from confrontations with hatred, bigotry, homophobia, the destruction of the earth, the right-wing agenda, above all: honesty with oneself.
All of this is woven into an illustrious and powerful platform, screamed or lulled into an experience that brings a well of emotion from an audience.

Lifted by the musical prowess of Trevor Williams (a Connecticut native who has been performing professionally since he was 15, also a music teacher), Matt Jackowski (performing bass since his teens, in a wide variety of styles of which he says the heart stays at the center of it all), and Evan Owens (whose drumming style is inspired by Black Sabbath and Madonna).
